Acceptance

By downloading and using Smoke Freedom you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple's Standard EULA also applies.

What the app is

Smoke Freedom helps you track smoke-free time, money saved and cigarettes not smoked, set goals and earn awards. It is a motivation and self-control tool.

Not medical advice

Information in the app (tips, facts, recovery indicators for the lungs and other systems) is for general reference and based on general data. Recovery indicators are approximate and are not a diagnosis. The app does not replace advice from a doctor. If you find it hard to quit or are worried about your health, talk to a professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Free version and Pro

Core features are free, including a limited number of goals. Pro unlocks unlimited goals, multiple products, reduction plans, widgets, pulse history and the growing tree. Pro may gain more features; we do not remove features you have already paid for during the paid period.

Subscription and payment

Pro is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription (which may include a free trial) and a one-time lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown on the purchase screen. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.

Your data

The data you enter belongs to you. How we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter; calculations depend on it.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the app, bypass subscription restrictions, or copy or resell the app's content.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, texts, illustrations and code are protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app on your own devices.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and are not liable for decisions made based on its information, to the extent permitted by law. This does not limit consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using and delete the app at any time. We may restrict access if these terms are breached.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. The current version is available in the app (Settings → Terms of Use). By continuing to use the app after changes you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the country where you live, to the extent consumer protection law does not provide otherwise.
